ok,its my first poll an i wanted to ask a question that really puts peoples values up against peoples sense of fair game. Like 2yr ago i was in a brawl with a guy,and as i started to get the better of him his girl hit me over the head with a bottle.Glass stuck in the back of my head,i was a bloody mess.Im almost positive at the time i would of put her to sleep if the bouncers hadnt got to me when they did....(A LITTLE ASHAMED OF THAT BUT I CANT DENY IT).Id forgot about it untill i bumped into her on my way to a friends today..It made me recall it.*ESPECIALLY INTRESTED IN WHAT WOMEN THINK*AND THE AGES OF PEOPLE VOTING.

I used to hear men say that if a woman chooses to hit like a man that she should be hit back.


I guess in the case of extreme circumstances otherwise no.

A man should never hit a woman unless she's pointing a gun at him and even then all hitting her will do is cause a distraction and hopefully force her to the floor.

I think men are stronger then some people think. Strong in the sense that they grit their teeth and hold back when they want to react to a situation. They use their willpower not to hit her because they know as they draw their arm back something kicks in at that last minute reminding them it's wrong to hit a woman.

When a man restrains himself from hitting a woman he is the one who wins the situation. Hitting a woman doesn't prove anything other then he's been to the gym.

Real men don't hit women.

I have never been in a speak easy in my life..........but I suppose the clubs to which you refer are the modern day equivalent. Notta lotta difference in the behaviour of the frequenters, except maybe the chivalry!!!!!!!!!!!

I got into a brawl with 2 guys one New Years Eve. It was all a big mistake. Anyway, I decided to go after the bigger guy and get him out of the way then kick the seeds out of the smaller one. I got the big guy on the floor where I was at home and had him in a headlock getting ready do a number on his face when he dug his nails into my face like a woman. I had to let him go when he grabbed my hair and started to drag me out of the apartment. I figured he had to let my hair go sooner or later and when he did I was ready to deliver a goodnight right hook. I felt his grip release my hair and I sprung up hauled back and let a sunday punch fly right at his face. That punch was all the strength I had cause I knew it was my only shot. Right at that moment his gf jumped in between us and that haymaker landed on her cheekbone. She dropped like a sack of potatoes. Damn! Now this guy is gonna be pissed because I just knocked out his gf. I figured my best bet was to get the hell out of there so I made for the door and after a little more scuffling outside we were both too tired to go on.
That was the only time I ever hit a woman and it was an accident.

You're right, I just was asking other's opinions about special circumstances in which the intention isn't harm a woman.

But perhaps times change in the matter of the strenght of men and weakness of women. Today are women learning martial arts, for example, and surely many women could beat me since I'm not an agressive person.

I prefer to not fight or hit someone, I'll only do it if I have no choice. For example, if I am with a woman and someone wants to hurt her.

Except she could defend us laugh

It is a tricky one..i think if she continues to hit you then defend yourself surely. But you have got to think about how you would feel after if you just knocked her out..you probably would not feel great about it...and if you chose not to hit her you could walk away with some dignity and sense of your are the better person.

funny this was the very thing on my mind over the week end. A friend of mine told me that after being with this soft spoken woman for a while, she got him upset enough to throw a tyson punch, but on realizing she was not hit he tried again and again and each punch was either in the wall or parts of furnitures. She was flicking, spinning and twisting like an electric eel and he, after exhausting himself swore never to spend another day with her. meanwhile his ribs were in pain as if a truck had crashed into him, Each time she dodged a punch she put in two. Well as for me i would be hitting her with rocks and 2x4stongue
