Yes, they should each conceal carry, at a minimum, two 1911 .45s, two uzis, twelve grenades, two AK-74s, two saw-ed off automatic shotguns and three midnight specials w/enough ammunition to last a 96-hour seige.

Surely one has more chances to survive in a hijacked plane if no one uses that kind of weapons during a flight. No matter if are the hijackers or the pilots.

No problem if all bullets and grenades used while airborne will only use paint projectiles. Knives and nunchucks are also supplied to and will used by stewardesses.
If they are properly trained I have no problem with them being armed. I think we should announce that from now on all airline crews will be armed. Then without actually arming anyone you will discourage some hijacking attempts.
I the cockpit was totally separate from the rest of the cabin of the plane with no access, physical or verbal there could be no hijacking... pilots should have their own doorway to the outside, bring their own packed lunch so that they don't have to rely on service from the stewards, hell, they're only glorified bus drivers when it comes down to it.

Godsgift: Erm.......NOPE!Do you really want somebody firing a gun 5 miles up in a pressurised cabin.
No only hijackers should be allowed to do that. I'm sure a bullet could be developed, or may already exist, that could incapacitate anyone but do no or minimal damage to the aircraft. I would like to see pilots armed and don't advertise that.

Why not? If a bullet should go through a bulkhead it would only make a small difference in cabin pressure, it's been tested. The only time it blew out a wall was in a movie. Some countries, I believe Argentina is one, allow anyone that can legally carry a gun to carry one on board. Ever hear of an Argentine aircraft being hijacked?

I think there are those kind of bullets already, seems like I read something about them.

Better the pilots would have electric weapons instead of paintballs, except if you want a really funny flight

90% of the terrorist attacks on planes can be halted if they stop the slime from travelling on our planes,by slime ,i mean a select group of degenerate religious throwbacks.who cares about pc,were going to have a war with them one day anyway,so i reckon knock the pricks of early, give the stewardesses a gun.
