Well, my oldest will be 28 this month, so for me, probably not. I'm also looking for something that could lead to a long term relationship, not something casual.
Yes it would matter to me, Ive brought one kid up, dont need another, I think men in their 20's looking for a woman in their 40's+ are just looking for a mother figure

You are right, age is just numbers and it does not matter in many ways, as long as the person you love is understanding, caring, loving and honest, than age is not a big deal or obstacle.
Age matters to me. The younger guys seem to just want to go for a ride. I stick to guys that are near my age. But I've had dates with a few guys my age and they acted worse than the younger guys. I stick with a guy who is fun and cares about me. The rest need to go home to their Momma.

to a certain extent. I'm looking for a partner. If he was younger but well educated and I admired/respected was compatible ok. Often its about mental age. But too much difference and I'd really have to question my motives and his.

younger ones are ok for fun, but for something serious they would have to be around the late 30s,for me, what happens when the young studs decide they want children down the track?
and are they going to change your diapers when your 80? and hes still only 50.
