Great hound you got there. Mine sleeps in her secured steel crate at night or else she'd be jumpin on my bed and tearing the sheets or pillows all hours of the night.
Your bull should have been the pooch on the planet Mars in the sc-fi movie "John Carter" which was based on the novel "A Princess On Mars" written by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

I remember waking up in the morning once to find my dog in bed with me, head on the pillow, just like a lover.
It was a bit of a shock, first thing in the morning, but it had been such a bitterly cold night in my draughty flat, I think he'd gotten in for survival purposes.
Personally, I don't like having hairy bedding which would require hoovering and washing every day. What a bloody palava that was.

Hoovering? I had a high school class mate Jodi Hoover. Hoovering?
snypers: Looking for your thoughts on this. Can also apply to dogs etc.
Yes it's ok but I agree with the above poster's, not when I have a partner spending the night. I must say, the cats do not like this situation at all! I have a lint brush that I use everyday to swipe any hair left behind that I bought from the Dollar Store. It's nifty and reuse able for a while before I have to replace it.
I love the pics of the dog and hamster - so adorable. Poor little hamster. :(

I used to have a Boxer and an Australian Shepherd. Miss those sweethearts. When I was married they used to sleep with us all the time. Sometimes the boxer would stretch out and push me off the bed. I would have to give him a reminder who the boss was but other than that there was no problem. I have traveled a bit and met some women that were very concerned about evening touching a cat. There were a few different reasons I heard. One had to do with getting pregnant. And another had to do with some type of magic spell that was said to be evil. I never worried as long as the animals were domestic and I guess wash my hands like I always do anyway, (habit of being a hairstylist.)
