I don't really like fast food and I thankfully do like cooking, so that's makes a lot of what I eat fairly healthy. 
I do like sweets etc., but I think everything in moderation is ok. To have a nutrition check from time to time on what you're eating gives you a good idea as well.

My grandfather ate all the wrong things. Red meat with plenty of fat, dairy butter, eggs, cheese, white bread and very little veges. On top of it he smoked 20 cigarettes per day. And he died...
He died at the age of 96 and was it not for the cancer, the old geezer would still have been alive.
My grandmother, who had the same eating habits, but did not smoke, lived to be 102. She died while under sedation after falling down the staircase. If that did not happen...
