No, but again with or without license they still gonna drive. and its sort of an ID of a person and can also be use for other things. they enter the country illegaly why give them "ID card"? where it supposed for those who are actualy "genuinely" in the country...

If they receive any kind of temporary residence papers then they aren't illegal.
It's a contradiction to have a permit being illegal.
Only the countries which doesn't make accomplish their inmigration laws (like mine) give papers graciously to the illegal while the legal inmigrants must wait that a neverending burocracy would give them a temporary card.

I don't believe they can be if they are illegal. Most the illegals here try to keep a real low profile choosing to ride with their legit family members. We also have public transpertation. If they are found to be illegals border patrol will take them in till they decide what to do with them. And that seems to be done on an individual basis. We do not seem to have the amount of illegals here we once had. That or they are hiding real good. Use to it was nothing to see a boat come to shore and people start running. Is there a problem in your area with illegal immigrants driving? Curious.

Considering the large numbers of illegal immigrants presently here in the USA, why is it a contradictions for them to have a permit? To begin with, these people are victims of the USA and Mexico, and it is my belief that they are here primarily to feed themselves and their families.
If they are going to be here, I'd prefer that they are mobilized and able to do so safely and to reduce the numbers receiving public assistance.
A lot of the comments in this thread are more than a bit disgusting to me.. If Congress would listen to me, I'd grant amnesty to all of the non-violent so-called illegals.

Jillll: I find I have much more sympathy for those waiting to come here legally. Many come here from all over the world for exactly the same reasons that Mexicans do, so why the special treatment for Mexicans?

I did read the first sentence of your post and I do understand how and why Mexicans come here in droves. But what about all the people who want to come here for the same reason but can't just walk over the border?
