but what about Vietnam/Iraq/Korea etc etc...domestic/civil war is a different beast and does interference benefit these countries???

Sometimes i wonder if that would not have been better for many of us as Germany is closer to us than so many other countries we help a lot and that want to destroy Western Europe' s Freedom ! but ... i admit it is a big debate, more phylosophical, and i would not like to shock nor offend you with the memories of all those Braves and Heroes who gave their lives for the very idea of Freedom, bless them and may them RIP !

Countries usually go to the aid of another country if they themsevs are threatened, or they have a treaty with he attacked country.
