None for me.
Being a motocyclist in wilderness Northern Canada means bugs in my part of the world.I had a moth at 100kph about to hit my lips so I took it in the teeth so as not to injure my lips.A beetle one in the cheek left a bruise and a large bee got caught in my helmet. That hurt for hours.

about 2 M people in the world eat insects... I have eaten grasshoppers and a more. ...

if you eat crawfish or clams (yes, they are worms in shells), it is not much different... so enjoy your next "insect" dishgrin

But, lets be real... would eat insects if there was nothing else to eat?

I've been stepping on geckos for about a week now, here in Dalla, Texas. I wonder if they'd be good skewered on the Barbie? I wonder if the roadrunner bird taste good grilled. They're running wild all over the place here too.

yay

I've eaten grasshoppers and those chocolate covered ants in the past, they are actually really tasty.

Insects make sense to feed a starving population, far cheaper and quicker to produce than conventional high energy emergency rations.

"Insects as a source of nutrition

many African Asian latin American and far eastern Asian countries eat certain insects in Zambia and rsa locust and many flying insects are fried and eaten after removing the wings and legs in India tribals eat ants and locust also the honey bees pupae apis mellifica in latin America certain species of beetles and larvae add variety to every day meals but in the developed countries certain insects are eaten by the armed forces in survival training
pretty much all human cultures with the only exection of western culture eat insects as part of their diet. not only are they nutritious eating them is also envirumentally friendly as they have the best transfer rate from plant protein to animal protein and we humans need them both."

Bon appetit!

roongmitra: Some kind so delicious

I agree with U ! Having travelled much and visited many markets in Africa, Madagascar and Asia for example, i have been tasting several meals with insects that were absolutely delightful ! especially fried spicy crickets ! I think insects will be soon the right answer to Hunger and Health problems in this World due to their excellent proteins and their lack of Cholesterol . Real meat and vegs will get more difficult to get in the next centuries that is a fact. handshake
