Always true to myself. Don´t rely on other people´s opinions. Not fussy about arguing with people who think they know it all....whassa point. Love chatting, but preferably with people who open their minds and hearts to subjects. My involvement in the forums came about by chance, but as it happens, I am enjoying the experience.

I honestly don't have the energy to try and pretend to be anything but myself. I try to stick with threads that I'm comfortable with, and frankly try to avoid those that are simply a fling fest.
I really enjoy the spontanious humour and my neighbours probably think I'm slightly insane for the outbursts of laughter that I've had by people cracking me up.
I'd never experienced or seen forums until I joined CS, and I've certainly learned a lot in my time here. I've learned a lot about myself, the opportunities for growth that I still require, and most importantly the opportunity to express myself.
I'd never really done that much before and I realize that there is so much that I've learned from others as they too express themselves. There is a wealth of knowledge here that inspires me.
I am true to who I am on the forums but I also take into consideration the fact that I'm in front of a monitor and what I say might not be taken the way I presented it. That's when I have to change a little so my post won't be taken out of context. People's feels are easily hurt in this venue as we saw yesterday when a longtime member left CS. It's important to "measure twice and cut once" meaning think before you act.
Ccincy: I'm option number 1.I am who I am and what you see is what you get.I say what I think whether someone likes me or not.I'm not on here to win a popularity contest and refuse to go along with the in crowd so to speak just to fit in.
i believe you. your comments have been unique and amusing.

Great responses from everyone, thank you :-) Different personalities definitely keep discussions interesting... And one thing I think everyone will agree with is that the Forums are addictive, it's hard to go through the day without at least checking to see whats happening on CS

yes verry addictive. but atleast its a healthy addiction
langleygirl: I agree that you are not responsible for how other's post .... and whether a topic is controversial or not is in the eye of the beholder.
If someone is going to berate you for posting a thread that actually starts a conversation, perhaps they shouldn't be posting in your threads. Yes, there are "some" that are perhaps more articulate, in the end isn't it about opening up and sharing our experiences to come to a better understanding of each other? Mud slinging doesn't do this and frankly I think one loses respect for those who seem to have a constant need to correct and/or reprimand others when they don't seem to be aware of how they are perceived.
Thank you langleygirl. You hit the nail on the head!

I forgot what the question was by the time I got done reading the thread! Had to go back and check
I see some of a few of the options in me. I am always true to myself. I feel that I am in my post. Tho sometimes I try for the "cute responses" sometimes they work sometimes they don't I agree with Jac about the starting of a thread. I see it as a responsibility, and if I don't have time to get it started I don't start it. I have started a few so we all can be glad I don't do it more. They don't seem to take The one thing I have realized is that you really cannot tell about a persons true personality from the written word. Even if they are being true to themselfs there are many aspects of their character we are not there to visual see.
