I've got a tablet myself but would prefer an ipad. Can't justify it at the moment though as have just purchased a new desktop this week

TereVr: I need to see which is which to buy. I did alot of research on them and found Kindle is one of the best device to use but I needed more opinions from CS friends!

I have an iPad which overall I've been happy with. It's great for traveling too.

really depends whats it for and you level of tech know how
tablet: cheaper, very flexible on software and hardware use. and what you can do, little harder to use. not so much fun apps (tech savey)
Ipad: expensive, easy to use, lots of apps on market, great design,
very ridged on movie formats and pretty much all third party apps (want everything easy)
Kindle: great if you just want to do books but unfortunately little else (Book Lover)
