I just wondered if your religion was important to you and why or why not. If you feel comfortable, you can say what your religion is. Please don't attack others, everyone has a right to believe in what they want.

true, put in for baptist missonary work,in muslim country/howdy.
I am a muslim and will die muslim,Yes my religion is very important to me, i do not force anyone to be muslim as thats what islam teaches `not to force anyone` but im open minded to discuss about it ...
Religion is not important. But faith is very important. Each of us have a faith in something. Yes that's right. Not one human being is faithless!
But faith is not religion. So some that have faith are not religious, and some that have faith are.
People are spiritual beings at our core. Whether or not people want to believe that doesn't change the fact.
Mankind has tried and tried and continues to try to break free of the bounds and confines of the earth. Sure he breaks out for a brief moment, but ultimately must return to the earth.
So it is with faith. Everybody sooner or later will see that they are spiritual beings, whether or not they want to believe it now.
Religion is just another man made set of rules. But faith is something that is for life.

The way I see it is that every religion has rules dictated by "god", written and re-written by man to suit themselves and gain power, influence and to serve the agenda of the religious hierarchy.
Forgive my ignorance of your religion. My open mind allows me to ask this question. Does Muslin and Islam teach harm against others?
Any Faith, Hope or Grace, that teaches harm against others is not religion it is a cult. MHO

No. Although the sense of community provided by organized religion via church sure does make for some decent picnics!!
I have investigated many religions, both mono- and poly-theistic,....all are of profound moral principle(s),....I am indeed well read,....yet,...as I stare into the night sky I find myself chuckling under my breath that ANY book or testament written by man can truly begin to comprehend the universe,....

But mathematics and astrophysics,...even the Pope John Paul grooved on this stuff,..and this is where I reside,....so lets just evade any contreversy by saying the church trys to understand the heart of god,...whereas me and my science are trying to understand his "mind",....

Yes, I am a Roman-Catholic, I am a religious and my faith is important to me. I believe in Holy Trinity. I was taught, thanks to Faith in God, what altruism and sophisticated charity means for people, for givers and takers.
I understood e.g. in my early age, how revange is useless and forgivness is important. I was as well taught how it is easy to protect myself against people who will attack me for who I am and what I believe in. I was taught to accept people and let them choose according their free will.
Being religious for me means live in Peace with God, with myself, with people. I believe in Son, My Lord, who teaches His followers. I believe in Spirit, because it is the world I am just in. It is not easy to be a Christian, but it is my way of my life here, on Earth.
I do not know how others feel it, that is my personal opinion and my answer for your question.

If you're not religious, you obviously don't have a religion!
So, your question "Is your religion important to you?" got to be the religion most people in your geographical surrounding area belive in or your country?

"Faith" in what? A belief ? When one puts "faith" in a "belief" an equal amount of "doubt" comes with it which must be denied. I, can not live my life by faith. I can only go by what I know to be true. I agree that we are spiritual beings at our core. But I know that to be true without any doubt. I don't need or want "faith" in these matters.
