NotABlonde: Did you say no and leave him broken hearted?
I wonder what became of him.....
Actually I did refuse....and he was promoting the re release of "What becomes of the Broken Hearted" in the nightclub where I was working....I thought he was ancient at the time, poor chap was probably only in his 40's! I think he's still alive and working
jac379: The antithesis of having famous relatives, perhaps.
Do you think it makes a difference to one,s sense of identity if one has limited information about close relatives, versus having famous ones?
Is it important for our self-identity to know where we came from and if so, why?
Hiya Jac I'm not too concerned about whether I'm related to someone famous or not but I sure would like to know more about my ancestry so with limited information, it's not easy to figure out. I'd like to know more out of curiosity than anything else. To me, there's something comforting knowing more about my background. I do know the last names and one of the names originated in Wales...I'm intrigued.

Why would you like to know more about your ancestry? What would it provide you with?
