I've met 3 from here locally and one from another site ,3 were relationships that lasted from 4 months to 1 year on and off Since 2009. I'm trying it again , I'm hopeful for meeting someone ,but not here on CS .

Did the first date lead to another date, or did you (or both) decide that the first date would be the last with that person?
