Pardone.... the Israeli port of Haifa is the main port of call in the eastern Mediterranean for the United States Sixth Fleet, and Israel provides other logistical and maintenance support for U.S. forces in the region. nothing comes free in the middle east, and we need to pay Israel rent for this dock space.
A port of call is not a base. It's a port where ships stop for fuel and water and a few supplies and to let the crew have a few days of liberty.
Of course dock facilities have to be paid for. But that's true for any port of call anywhere in the world and no other country is getting millions of dollars per day, year after year. It's ridiculous and deceptive to try to claim that Israel is somehow earning the massive aid it is given by the US.
It's all about corruption and bribery.
US politicians should be tried for treason and duly executed.
And Israel should be forced to pay back everything it has swindled from US taxpayers.

I agree about the politicians, but Israel is the only friendly major port providing sufficient port facilities in that neck of the woods. I tell you what though, the night life in Tel Aviv-Jaffa is pretty wild after they finish with the prayer thing.

When the time comes the whole battle will be over in a day.
After all Israel is a dangerous rogue nuclear state.
So I would expect a preemptive missile strike hitting all important military targets with tactical nukes.

What you mean there Ray , Israeli arabs vote ,even have arab MK's . A few are being looked at for promoting trouble . Don't you think Jews come from that place and were chased out in earlier times . well, if that is true, nothing is for nothing, they are doing it for a reason. maybe so that Israel helps them with their plans. they are obviously investing in Israel for some reason, maybe its got to do with control of the other states/countries, for its own safety, or even for their resources. who knows.

we all do that sometimes,dont we? or u r a man who thinks ur answers always the right one?a while back Israel built a nice tank , Merkava , they were building a nice fighter plane as well that at the time was going to be quicker than US's . Uncle Sam was not keen on that idea . So now we have Israel only to happy to buy US gear with US money .

We are so broke, many of our young men need to join the military (to feed their families), and fight all of Israel's enemies... at the same time, we cut aid to the people who give the banks money, and provide children to die in far away countries for corporate profits, have banks stealing their homes, while they are in the desert, many years after nobody found even one WMD.
We definitly need to let our "friend's" support themselves; and take some of the millions of our American homeless people, who lost their jobs, beginning in the 80's with the $98 billion S&L bailout... to third world countries, and their homes to the same banks we just gave billions of dollars to, again...
Let's get our homless off of the streets, and feed our own children, and pay our teachers, and take care of the schools that our children attend, without doubling the interest on student loans....

Or maybe the real point is not about Israel, but of taxing domestic industry, small businesses and workers to make life easier for international finance and multi-national corporations that rely on unfettered global trade and the bribery and corruption of nations.
