montemonte: The fact that Zimmerman ignored what the police told him shows that he was determined to confront Martin. How much more do people need to see that Zimmerman was looking for trouble. He's walking around the neighborhood with a gun in his hand.
Zimmerman had to know that Martin would attack him if he pointed a gun at Martin. That would give him an excuse to shoot Martin. Zimmerman wanted to be the neighborhood hero. He's not a hero. He's a bully and he may live to regret his decision to kill this kid.

Also this "kid" had a bad attitude, no where is the outcry for the white male who was beat up so bad that he died a year later from his injuries. The 6 teens who did it were BORED! and they were black. BTW, Zimmerman never pointed a gun, until after he was being attacked. All martin had to do was turn and say, why are YOU following me!? But he didn't. Obama race baited this issue and you all fell for it.

We can debate this until the cows come home and it is not going to change anything, Zimmerman was tried and found not guilty, end of story. There are many different opinions here and that is good, this is what the forums are for. All we can do now is just wait and see how things will evolve in regards to this very unfortunate incident.

well... actually as an expat living in Nicaragua, what I saw was a young man killed by an older man. And, as was pointed out earlier, the older man has Peruvian blood. And, to be very specific....

I meet and speak to hundreds of people a day in my job and am simply expressing my opinion and that voiced by the vaste majority of others I have spoken to " Well sure thats Americans for you" is the most often used phrase.

Actually in my county most the crime here is done by people outside of our area 
I have lived here since before we were a tourist spot. when we became a tourist destination...gone were most our good jobs and then sadly most of the jobs here now are low paying jobs. Jobs geared towards making our guest comfortable. Kind of funny in a unfunny way....we were told they would make our county prosper....we thought we would make more money. Just more for politicians to waste.

I know onething,if Martin was on top of me pummeling me,slamming my Head to the Ground,I would have pumped more than one Round into him!
hot day today, found myself and a friend stopping in a place for some good ole burritos and enchiladas,,Guava juice!! And as i fed myself I noticed that the place i was at was not so busy but it was with people of several backgrounds and you could hear at least 5 different languages being spoken. Peaceful. people eating and no chaos or bad feelings. Very nice to know that even after reading all these posts that many are just moving forward and enjoying life.
