@intrigued: No way, not ever again! I almost had a heart attack and my blood pressure must have skyrocketed. It took an hour afterwards for me to stop shaking. I couldn't even walk because my legs were shaking too much. I'll NEVER forget the fear!

Wow! Sorry to hear that. I get the same way if I'm on the roof of a tall building.
@ harley: The scariest thing I've done other than rollercoasters is wild water river rafting down the Taos gorge, level 4 out 5. 5 Being the most dangerous and scary! Yes, the raft flipped over! I almost *hit!

@ lala
I've taken a 60mi raft trip down the Colorado from Palisades(just E. of Grand Junction) to West Water, Utah in June (spring melt/runoff).
Twice!
And been down the Eleven Point(in canoe) in southern MO.(about 10mi north of Ark.) many times! I think it only has a couple category 3 rapids, that's a 35mi trip!
Both GREAT fun & cold like melted snow(the water)!! Camped along the way on both, just beautiful!!!!
