Should you be able to feel your xiphoid process ? I have never been able to till yesterday night. Although I have lost some ridiculous amount of weight from dieting.

I don't think I could feel mine even when I was skeletally thin and showing signs of ill health.

I'm a little concerned for you.

If you push too hard and it breaks get to an ER immediately. Breaking it can kill you.

The Xiphiod Process is a small piece of cartilage at the bottom of the sternum. If you are not too fat you can easily feel it. As you get older it tends to harden and sometimes curve outwards.

Look it up in Wikipedia.

If it breaks there can be complexities but not fatal
