It tastes like pork. Yes, I have been in places where that is what was on the menu. Take a bowl or go hungry. They were cooked with stewed tomatoes, onion and potato. It was actually a pretty good meal. The dogs were raised by the owners specifically so they could become a meal.
We are omnivores. Generally speaking if it moves or grows, we can eat it. Rat, dog, cat, bear, moose, deer, cow, goat, fish, clam, lobster, grasshopper, etc. Our stomachs don't care, so why should anything else?
