I clicked yes, because sometimes it really does, because one of partners or even both partners are word's man and doesn't wants to break their word, BUT not in all times yes works, it really depends on couple, who's man and woman in relation

stefff: ...but perhaps you misunderstood me
That's what usually stops men from saying truth. that women might misunderstood. There's some truth there. Can't omit the fact that there are women who are... Well.. whatever.. But if my boyfriend thinks me like that, he has a low opinion of me.

A lapse of judgement or a screwup doesn't help the relationship, no matter if it's confessed or not. Once done, one may be able to fix things up by fessing up, or it may make no difference, depending on the circumstances.

I agree on "depending on the circumstances". But you guys most of the time make the screwup even bigger by trying to fix it by your brilliant ideas.
if a person ..feels she/he...has to confess.....about something.....it shows a troubled mind....and should not enter into a relationship.......if it is that serious.jmo.

I think for smaller things like finding another woman attractive, or having naughty thoughts about someone else, it's best to keep quiet. If you act on these things then perhaps you'd better have a look at your relationship.
My mind is/not troubled but confession is a daily duty. Any relationship entered is entered because of a need to know! If you cross my path and smile it is because you need to be smiled at. Love you.
If you want to know walk in my shoes, I will freely give them to you. Forgive me for the shoes you walk in because they may cause you pain.

Everyone is human and it's hard not to look. Is it a crime to look?
