My skin crawled at first until the Brits, said NO, and the Americans also said NO. This country needs help, and let the help come from those that know their need.

Yes, but blind emotion and sophistry, ignoring reality with a pronounced inability to learn from experience... sounds to me like good old estrogen befuddled thinking. Whereas the men on that side are surely just being cynical.
116 Members sign letter outlining president’s constitutional requirements
Washington – Today Congressman Scott Rigell led a bipartisan effort urging President Obama to convene Congress and receive Congressional authorization prior to using military force in Syria, noting that doing otherwise would be unconstitutional.
“I’m grateful and encouraged by the strong, bipartisan support this letter has received,” said Rigell. “It’s a clear indication that this issue is not personal to the president, but rather represents common ground in Congress and a deep respect for the Constitution.”
In a letter signed by 116 Members of Congress (98 Republicans and 18 Democrats), Members expressed disapproval at the president’s intervention in Libya without prior statutory authorization, and said that Congress stood ready to return to session to consider the facts in Syria. The text of the letter and a list of all cosigners is below.

Save the Children and the Mother's of all Nations.
If the West gets involved there more Children and mothers will die! Just like in Iraq and Afghanistan. When the west gets involved the war will escalate and more innocent people will die. That is inevitable.
And if you arm the rebels you will end up going to war against your own weapons in the future just like you did in Iraq and Afghanistan. How many times does it happen to happen for a lesson to be learned?
Sadly they probably won't - their economy seems to thrive on war so surely they "must protect and defend and attack" - in the best interests of Syria of course!!
