There's pushy and there's persistent! Pushy is a definite no no. It comes across as clingy, possessive, egotistical and insecure (at least one of them!). If a girl doesn't appear interested (i.e. not answering you, avoiding you!) then it's probably because she's NOT! NEXT! lol
On the other hand, a small respectful degree of being persistant can be forgiven. It's nice that people don't give up too easily too. Just don't let a little persistence turn into pushy! Goes both ways of course!

Men are pioneers....men are hunters.... don't mix up with it!
and I am not into "modern men"...because all modern men I've met only claimed they are modern...but they are only modern in particular things that is useless (in my books)... They are only modern in lifestyle, but their behavior, their minds and their intellectual are not much better than stone age males...they are only Homo Sapiens...just a male, not a man!

Real men will strive and fight because of his good will...not ego self-ness !!!

no matter what has happened in this world, men and women are still different... and if we mix up these roles, we will see many women beg all cads all the time... Men hunt women by its nature... In reverse logic, whenever a woman hunt men and being persistent even thougher there is no consenting relationship, then it is the time for her to hide her face to someplace where nobody knows that event took place..lols

there is a very big difference between "being persistent " and "being thick" if he is at the same age with my grand/parents or college students, or just for fun, I will also use the latter term lols..... we (women) avoid men because of some reasons lols.....

There has to be a sense of balance in what is considered persistence or just being annoying.
Women tend to think a man is insecure if he is clingy and too sensitive. Women like to wear the pants today so I feel let them.
Never have I met such miserable people on this site so far and are so willing to attack those just saying hello.
Persistence in working to meet one's goals in life is a quality everyone likes. Persistence can also be misinterpreted as obsessive and that invokes insecurity and fear of losing the object of affection.

I wonder if people are not so much miserable as they just may be conccerned about scammers and/or just have their guard up since there are so many people out there who just like to play games. Jaded maybe?

A very good and valid point to consider. I get scammers as well hence men are not immuned to idiots out there. It not all about women who are always scammed. However so many set themselves up to be the victim. Stop victimizing and stop being the victim and try to get along with one another.
