I can't tell about the time but the condition when there will be no war
when people will start giving more importance to Philanthropy/humanity than Patriotism.

Western armies are 9/10ths insurance anyway, the security and protection for global trade supplying the consumer lifestyle. These armies stand willing to do violence on behalf of affluence, an affluence which dreams of pacifism.
