If it's a properly planned ambush You're dead, simple as that, if it's a immediate ambush turn into it and fight through, those outside the killing ground hook left or right and provide supporting fire. Good luck.

I do carry some protection.
It might seem simplistic but it is important to follow the above.
Close ( a few of blocks away) from my working place there has been:
2 kidnappings (one dead and one recovered)
1 package with some people’s heads
1 group of beaten people (criminals) that die after,
1 shooting among 2 groups of criminals,.....

Third: Negotiate or take action to leave (ruuuunnnnn) or seek for protection, hiding….
