A great manager will get the very best from their team, that's all we can ask and might I add, other teams have succeeded more than others expected under Martin.

lol he managed aston villa and he walked out of the club complaining that the chairman wouldn't give him money to buy players , he spent enough of villa s cash.He was good for managing a mediocre celtic in a poor Scottish league , , he's average nothing special about him he showed that by leaving villa.Jack did it and Martin would do it, he has always got the best from every team he managed, playing to their individual and team strengths and most of all he is a great motivator and guess where he is from

Both the clubs you mention were pleased with him as were other clubs he managed, he did well for them. Such an awful manager, must be why some of the biggest clubs in the UK wanted him.

the biggest clubs wanted him lol, I personally nothing against Martin look he had potential but no he doesn't have the X factor , im not bitter he left villa but trust me no big club would give him a job maybe Bradford City or Sheffield United but no big club. Sorry

We've been playing as a team that's hard to break down, Giovannis record speaks for itself...we don't have the players to play any other way...it's that simple...it's a sad state of affairs when you rely on a man in his 30's for goals, if Keane doesn't play we don't score, if we don't sit back and defend (badly) we'd get a hiding...individually we're poor, as a squad we're poor and financially we're poor too...a new manager won't make a difference, just somebody new to blame and paper of the cracks!!
