In my opinion some countries like it that they ll have more palnting fields whic are now coevered with ice. While the southern hemisphere will fry.

I don t think that ll work for em.

Also you Americans, could you please NOT USE YOUR V8 s and walk to your workplace and back home only one day.

That d help.

I agree with you I walk to work every day or use public transportation which uses natural gas instead of gasoline

That won't happen, everyone either commutes 100 miles to work,
or laziness trumps walking and cycling.

thanks for your contributions planet earth safety. It helps socialising and takin a sniff of daily events.

I mean while you re in your car you travel alone. But in a bus you hear what others are talking about.

It sometimes gives you tips about life and how the bus driver uses the path gives you driving tips may be.

100 miles?Wouw that s a long way.It means sitting in the car for an hour and if you ve got a sitting job too that means a shorter life.

I don t know what to say.I walk sometimes 11 km down a hill.I sleep like a baby that day and wake up like a leopard on a tree.

Walking balances the bad effect of smoking and producing brain cells even in age of 38.My theory.

In parts of America it's also Open Season on turkeys! as well as Quarterbacks!

Yep, global climate changes have been occurring for eons, see-sawing back and forth between prolonged ice-ages and warmer inter glacial periods. No theorizing here. The question now lies in how fast humans are influencing the current warming, and if we will reach a critical temperature, a boundary where we can no longer slow it down or take any corrective measures to stop a runaway greenhouse effect. Those who deny we are warming up due to an increase in abnormal atmospheric gases are just not listening!

Tomcats2: In Stockholm, Sweden there is a group of scientists discussing weather climate change exist and what effects this could have and wether or not those Affects can be reversed whats your opinion?

Of course the climate changes
we can't deny that fact
temperature will rise and fall
as forces interact

the medieval warm period
was much warmer than today
it lasted several centuries
and then it cooled away

In Greenland they grew wheat and oats
The English folk made wine
The sea it rose a foot or two
The polar bears did fine

But then the solar cycle changed
and temperatures decreased
the little ice age gave a chill
to every man and beast

but then the cycle changed again
and things began to warm
and that is where we stand today
no reason for alarm

The present global warming trend
is but a continuation
of one that has been underway
for several generations

It is not due to CO2
It's driven by the sun
The other planets are warming too
not just our local one

No Carol , we have been listening , there has been no warming for 15 years , that is a fact . They ( snake oil science peddlers )have changed the name to "climate change" to accommodate that fact.

... The main greenhouse gas responsible for present-day and anticipated global warming, however, is carbon dioxide produced by burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heating, and transportation.

Your claim is totally false.

Carbon dioxide is neither the most abundant nor the most active greenhouse gas.

"Water vapor is the most important atmospheric greenhouse gas.."
Atmospheric Radiation: Theoretical Basis, Goody & Yung, Oxford University Press (1989, 2nd edition)

"Water vapor is the most important gas for the transfer of radiation in the atmosphere.."
A First Course in Atmospheric Radiation, Grant Petty, Sundog Publishing (2006)

"The importance of water vapor in regulating climate is undisputed. It is the dominant greenhouse gas, trapping more of Earth’s heat than any other gaseous constituent.."
Climate Modeling through Radiative-Convective Models, Ramanathan & Coakley, Reviews of Geophysics and Space Physics (1978)

"The dominant role of water vapor as a greenhouse gas has long been noted.."
The Radiative Signature of Upper Tropospheric Moistening, Soden, Jackson, Ramaswamy, Schwarzkopf & Huang, Science (2005)

"The contribution due to water vapor to the total longwave radiative forcing is 75 W/m², while for carbon dioxide it is 32 W/m²..
The Importance and Nature of the Water Vapor Budget in Nature and Models, Lindzen, Climate Sensitivity to Radiative Perturbations: Physical Mechanisms and Their Validation (1996)

"Water vapour is by far the most important contributor to the greenhouse effect."
David Chandler, NEW SCIENTIST Magazine, article "Climate Myths"

Not only is water vapor over twice as active at trapping solar radiation than is CO2 it's also far more present in the atmosphere than CO2.

Water vapor accounts for about 4% of the atmosphere.
CO2 accounts for less than one tenth of 1%.

So why does CO2 get all the headlines and all the blame when (at worst) it could only account for 2.5% of the total greenhouse effect.

Why aren't we scrambling to reduce H20 emissions?
Why isn't Al Gore making billions selling water credits?
Why aren't we being pushed and taxed to reduce our water footprint?

The global warming scam is just another way to tax people.

The supposed science behind it isn't science at all.

In the early part of the earth's life cycle the entire planet was warm, even the poles. And that was when both plant and animal life exploded and diversified.

All that carbon that mankind is digging up and burning now was atmospheric carbon (CO2) at that time. That was before forests and animals got buried trapping big reservess of carbon underground. But despite considerably higher temperatures and much higher levels of CO2, Life not only survived, it thrived and exploded. The earth didn't go into meltdown. It spawned life.

We are not on the verge of any sort of global CO2 crisis.

The true scientific evidence shows that CO2 levels rise and fall because CO2 is either absorbed by or released from seawater according to temperature. In every case it has been the temperature that changed first, and then CO2 levels changed as a result.

The whole global warming scam is nothing but a way to justify taxing society back down to a feudal system in which the vast majority have no wealth or rights at all.

The temperature may rise or fall or maybe stay the same.
But rest assured, behind it all, it'S carbon that's to blame.
