I ran across some info that read that the merging of the U.S. and Canada had been going on for centuries.Not as if it were a brand new idea.

my initial and immediate reaction was no...then,... No, and after giving it more thought....NOOOO!!! (grin)
while there are certainly many superficial similarities between us, if one looks closer..we do not share the same beliefs in many crucial areas.
i have lived in the states, have many american friends, my son's father is american...
and while i enjoy and appreciate being neighbors, i have no desire to 'join' us together...
and ps to bodleing...
