You ask a question that only you can find the answer to. Many will have their personal opinion. Some may want to preach, some may want to curse and deny the existence of God.
For some the very mention of this name brings about violent hatred or mocking.
But is God there and does he love you? You are the only one that can find this out.
Don't blame God for things that happen on this earth. There are many contributing factors: human, spiritual, attitudinal, emotional, and other.
I can say this to you with absolute confidence. If you really want to find God, you will. If you only want to find God on your terms and when it suits you, you might. If you are not genuine about wanting to find God, then you wont.
You have to make the choice, then make the effort, then see what happens.
For me, God is not always in a church. Nor is he always in religion.
But this is something for you to discover, if you really want to find out.
