Obstinance_Works: Men are more intellectual and spiritual as opposed to women's materialistic and superficial nature. Their loyalty is to positive feels and emotional reward, and not to any kind of duty or moral principle. But you don't have to have money to woo a woman, you just needs to have something that signifies power(as money does). Being cool or being the right kind of a**hole beats having money. And with the exception of insane wealth, charisma will get you a much hotter wife than money will.
In a way you are right.. Women like a man who is confident.. And , for the record, we are NOT after the "size of his d..k" or "how fat his wallet is" which is the misconception here

They do no harm, but no they're certainly not essentially and this is a misconception. Although, I do think that even Casanova would have struggled with a micropeen.
Obstinance_Works: There are, but in most cases the amount of money a woman has, her credentials and what she does for a living mean at best nothing to a man and at worst can actually be a turn off. If he wanted an argumentative, competitive and power-hungry partner then he'd marry a man.
She Stoops to Conquer is an Irish classic comedy play from the 18th century where the woman pretends to be from a lower social class than she actually is in order to win the heart of a successful man. Why this is the case remains true up until this day.

This play is perhaps less true than it once was. Due to the Lords of Lies, these days it's quite common for a beta male to unhappily marry an overeducated, overweight and overbearing strugglepregger.
Ccincy: That is why I used the word some and not all. Note to self quit watching so many movies.
It's a classic! And belongs absolutely nowhere near Hollywood.
Although, if we're talking movies, then the must see movie for men and women has to be Blue Valentine. You think it's a chick flick at first, but this will leave you raw. I've never seen so much honesty compressed into a modern film.
