I should always go with my gut because that seems to always be right for me but instead, I only go with my gut 'sometimes'. That's because I allow my brain to wonder. The results I get are not usually what I hoped for.
In this world we don't know all/enough of the variables/things of the problem/s that are facing us. So it's quite reasonable to use guts feelings rather than thinking. And there come the problems. Animals never take bad decisions. But humans merely always do.
This question means the exact same thing as the title, but I reckon people would answer a whole differently. It's funny how easily manipulable people are.
But for things like science(hard science)and much of engineering and invention then you don't want to rely on instincts all that much. Many of the worlds best scientists are social or full-on autisoids with virtually no instincts whatsoever.
Nothing great can be done without guidance by the gut instincts. Especially in the REAL science, not digital re-fiddling of the same things, where unfortunately much of the attention nowadays is being put for many years now.
Of course, doing everything digital is just the excellent thing for the Big Brother/NSA to trace/chase/number/cataloguise all of us.
