Squeezie1958: Agree... somethings are better not said.
Why dwell over things or discuss something that would make you both feel uncomfortable. All relationships start from scratch that is the time to be open and honest with each other from the day you meet, whatever happened in the past is that just the past, you cannot change it, you cannot bring it back so just concentrate on new beginnings.

If I met a woman and her ex husband was in jail for killing her ex bf, I'd want to know, wouldn't you!

Sticking your head in the sand wont stop you having ya butt sliced open
Heads not stuck in the sand but then being paranoid about everything and anything just does not make sense. Realistically speaking if you found out your partner had a dodgy past you would ask but in general most relationships have floundered because of infidelity so the actual likelihood of meeting the devil incarnate is pretty slim?

without asking you wont know. It's not a case of being paranoid, it's about protecting the future. If the woman I meet has had every previous bf cheat on her, I have to be thinking maybe she's lacking in something.

I don't have anything to hide so I don't have problem with that. Past is past. Present is present. The usual questions that are possible to be questioned is : Why broke up ??? How come ??? Do you still love him/her ???

Depends...we all have a past. If he wanted to know about previous relationships I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. I would tell him if the question was asked.
