jono7: you don't have to wait till the next day...just go in the evening...they're already marked down...
(my friend told me........ )
I did that for the Christmas chocolates and they weren't marked down...dude said they won't be marked down until morning. I suspect the same at Easter.

I am a tacky Easter Egg person, I love plain and simple Smarties, I dont eat much of the chocolate but take out the smarties and enjoy them like a kid, Forrero Egg? If I had one in this house, t'wud be gone tonight, and yes I am a pig. Happy oinking away at my chocolate though
Never even heard of HOP. I went to youtube and found that it is a cartoon movie about a bunny. It's not going onto my must watch movie list. When I was a kid my mother would buy a dozen or so white eggs (That's all there was in the stores back then as I recall) she would hard boil them and me, my brother & sister would color them with different color food dye. Then we would eat them. Even then it seemed like a waste of time not to mention risking consuming unhealthy food dye. On palm Sunday we had to go to church and we were gifted with some palm fronds which we fashioned into little crosses that we pinned on our shirt to show that we conformed to everybody else. It would never do to stand out from the crowd. On Ash Wednesday we again had to go to church to receive "communion" and get ashes smeared on our foreheads. This was to verify that you actually went to church so we conformed to everybody else, again It would never do to stand out from the crowd. Later I figured out a way to get a smudge on my head without having to waste time going to church by burning a cork and using it like an ash applicator. All my friends loved the idea and it became the norm. I wonder if the church ever noticed the gradual decline in revenue as the cork idea spread.
mcradloff: Easter is a fun time for me. Just got done watching HOP.
The Easter Sunday Dinner--best if turkey, and it's quite a bit like Thanksgiving only more salads and usually Pralines and Cream Frozen yogurt for dessert.
unlaoised: Err...what date is Easter this year anyway?
Please remember that the Christian celebration is calculated in this way:
"In 325CE the Council of Nicaea established that Easter would be held on the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the vernal equinox.(*) From that point forward, the Easter date depended on the ecclesiastical approximation of March 21 for the vernal equinox.
Easter is delayed by 1 week if the full moon is on Sunday, which decreases the chances of it falling on the same day as the Jewish Passover. The council’s ruling is contrary to the Quartodecimans, a group of Christians who celebrated Easter on the day of the full moon, 14 days into the month."
