I beg to differ on that one. I know quite a few ladies that would like getting tools and such, I had a lady swap me a truck box for one of my roll around boxes so she could put her tools in it.

A friend of mine was given a tool kit by one of her ex's. She was mortified.
I thought she was ungrateful and it was the best pressie ever.
She said I could have the tool kit and the man, but I didn't want the man.
I gave her some crappy Channel No.5 that smelled like an ICI chemical plant which some silly oaf gave to me. She was thrilled to bits with it.
I just don't get it.

I think any gift (no matter how small or extravagant) that is given with thought will always be appreciated by woman. Gifts that are given without thought or because of guilt will always be the crappy ones - I would like to think that most of us women can tell the difference between a thoughtful or lousy gesture.

What is not to get, some women want to be dependent and some want to be empowered, personally Ill take an independent empowered woman any day. That way I know they are capable of doing things themselves (and I don't have to do it for them).
