I think romance is very much alive and well, and it's totally possible to convey it online.
It does need to be acted out in person at some point but the initial flame can be lit between two people online .. and I do think romance is important to many men also

I think cherishing each other and let the other person know that they matter to you is still important if you want a long-term relationship that is going to work.This is just my impression - hard to find someone on here who would want to cherish you with your clothes on.
If I ever start looking again, I would do in social situations or through friends.
