Do you eat meat? (55)
Catfoot: I'm really interested to know about our meat eating habits. Do you eat all kinds of meat? Or maybe only fish or poultry. And if you don't eat meat, how about eggs or milk?
hmm, it's been awhile. I think in Dublin...Clonsilla), And Budapest was really tasty! you just can't get that around here...not for some time. Even now I have dinner but still starve!

Hi Cat, I take B12Tablets and I do eat Organic Eggs and Yoghurt, thats it I dont drink milk [it gives me Asthma]. I will sometimes buy a Chicken Breast but it has to be Organic where the Chicken had a decent life, outdoors and humanely killed. I refuse to eat Beef, Pork, I also dont eat Lobster or large Fish, sometimes I eat Tuna or Sardines.
I do this for Ethical reasons as factory farmed chicken, beef etc is cheap and on special offer but I couldnt live with myself it I did.

NO, I am a complete vegan. Even before, I became a vegan I was a normal vegetarian. I ate eggs and chesse sometimes.
I was raised on fish as a kid but I couldn't afford it as an adult on my own so I became a vegetarian and now I eat plant based foods only - lots of fresh fruits and fresh veggies and nuts for snack.

One side of my family ate loads of meat and lived in excellent health into their 100's, the other side passed in their fifties and sixties. I love all kinds of food and would rather enjoy a short happy life than suffer a long one.
I think a lot of processed and altered food may be the worst. I avoid all possible additives and trans fats.

Yes, I eat all meat, mainly fish and poultry(free-range). I like lamb despite the image it conjures up of sweet little woolly things frolicking in the meadows....sorry, my bad.
I have a particular fondness for venison and wild duck.
I rarely eat pork. We've had reports in this country of unsatisfactory and inhumane pig rearing conditions, so I refrain from buying the stuff.
I was raised on a dairy farm so I guess that hardened me to the culling of animals for food purposes. My mother would sometimes serve up cow's tongue which I found difficult to stomach....the texture mainly..
My grandfather was a duck hunter. I can recall scalding(very dead) ducks in boiling water and plucking the feathers, when I was a kid.
Gawd, I suddenly feel guilty for my carnivorous ways. Do I need to be locked away?

As for myself, I eat everything except for cats, dogs and their family in the wild. I have eaten rabbit, elephant, crocodile, snake, hedgehog, porcupine, mole, tortoise, hippopotamus, and every conceivable antelope even Zebra, which is no other than a striped donkey. Generally, if it eats grass, I will eat it. I am a bit more fussy with predators, crocodile was ok; very much like pork. From the sea I eat most except for dolphin which I refuse to eat on ground of their intelligence and good will to man.

there is a fish here that is called dolphin, not to be confused with our friend Flipper.
