Every time I buy a car, first thing I do is sell the summer tyres.
They would be wasting space in my cellar.
Besides they are dangerous!
I hate dragging them up the stairs, every six months and bringing the others down is a huge hassle.
They are heavy, cant be handled easily, they brake my nails, stain my blouse and leave black marks on hands and face, they keep running away if you let go of them going down the stairs... they go bounce bounce bounce and mark the walls.
I personally think changing tyres every season is a man-thing...

Just for your information as I know you're not living in Quebec, Canada. In the province of Quebec, Canada it is an obligation by law to change from summer to winter tires. Of course this has to do with the winter season (snow & ice) and for safety reasons.

I don't know how much snow and ice you get where you live or if you're required by law to use snow tires in the winter but I always use good all season tires and our winters can be pretty brutal.
My 20134 Mustang GT came with summer tires. I had to go to tire rack and order a set of winter tires because summers are worthless really in snow and we get a fair amount here. Yea it's a hassle to have to swap them out every 6 months but it only takes an hour or 2, 2 times a year. Not that big of a deal.
This is wear I brag that here in tropical paradise that I don't need to change tires in winter - except that they are building in my neighborhood and the nails that find their way into my tires is irksome.
I let the professionals plug the tire.
I do put my own hurricane shutters up - have power drill will travel.
Winter tyres (with or without spikes/studs) are compulsory from 1 December until 31 March for Swedish registered vehicles and trailers and also for foreign registered vehicles. You are allowed to drive on winter tyres from October 1st until mid-April. If it’s snowy and icy roads like in north, we can change to summer tyres later. It's the same in Finland.

I use studded tyres.
I would have to change my connecting singles profile if I lived there to - need a good man, who can cook, clean and change my ..... tires!.
