I do believe in the law of attraction in that if I am happy and have a good outlook on life, I am going to attract those types of people. If someone has a tendency to be negative though or put out negativity to others that' s what usually comes back to them. The old saying goes, misery loves company.In reference as an example to my other poll about a good heart--So therefore a good heart is easy to attract or not depending on your thoughts, belief and frequency.

I have learned to be cautious though about making specific or personal requests. Another saying is be careful what you wish for you might just get it.
I found I am better off to just do the right. The universe will help me or a guiding force, but only if I am willing to do my part. My thoughts sometimes need to be backed up with action. There is no substitute for faith accompanied by affirmative action. I hope everyone lives well today.

SO here it is. So taking that analogy about player and victim being player deep down inside etc then what about the case of let say a serial killer does that make the victim a serial killer somewhere deep down inside or has something in common with the serial killer!!??? Hmm me thinks this topic could get pretty dicey.

i believe one has the ability to manifest. i also believe in frequencies.
i think the law of attraction is a good survey introduction to manifesting, but looking a bit deeper there's a bit more to it me thinks (lots on line about it).
re: your mention of victim/player.. here's my two bits...
sometimes a victim wants to be a victim and is getting exactly what they seek albeit perhaps not consciously. if you observe one's behavior carefully and without judgement, i think we often get the result of our own choices and actions.
but then that leads into the 'ol determinism vs free will debate.

I know your out there somewhere and I know I'll find you somehow because I can hear your heart beating. It draws us closer with every beat. If your in a data system, living down the street from me or you live as far away as China I will find you and you will find me. Because we are meant to be together. If it's about love, I think using your brain and choosing someone compatible would be the wisest thing. In general, if someone is just simply not a nice person and doesn't treat people well, it will catch up eventually (if the other half isn't a complete doormat). If you are a genuine person other people want to be with and pick your other half accordingly, you have a good chance of happiness.

This has been taught for 1000s and 1000s of years. Way before the bible, way before Moses, way before Enoch, just way way way before mankind wants to accept. This is not new to science, never has been. And it's. It new age stuff either.
What many do not understand, you also. Receive what you constantly say, think, feel, and believe you DONT WANT. The key word being...want.
I have to use the bible as an example because that is what I'm most familiar with. It says we reap what we sew.....that means by actin and thoughts. And it also says to be careful what you ask for not just because you'll get what ever you say you want and don't want...but also you MUST either be prepared....or be willing to go through the process it tales to get what you want.
Ex....Moses was chose to lead about 3,000,000 of his peole out of Egypt. He wanted to do that. So God said ok....do as I instruct and I can help you! Moses was instructed to listen to God's or the universe's whispers and follow the necessary instructions for it to come to fruition. Moses started complaining about the gift God gave him in order to perform many miracles. Fussing at those who had no comprehension of how to get what they need and want. Now God promised if Moses followed His instructions he'd be able to go into the promised land of milk and honey. But because Moses complained about God's favor on him to help his people, and because the people complaining about what needed to be done to get there...God forbid them to be able to go and that blessing was given to the next generation. All those that complained about doing what it took got to see their dream and visions come to fruition.

I do think we attract like minded people in to our life's, criminal minds attract same, if one is down and out attract same,,,positive people attract positive into their lives. Opposites can attract too but they may share a like mindiness. If we think poor we will attract poor as that is what we think we are. If in a low place in your head and insecure this can attract opposite of someone to take advantage, ...positive attracts positive that's a fact.

it strikes me of some kind of determinism that i tend do refuse...
the examples you mentioned are based on instictive/emotional reaction...
i am not convinced we are/have to be (always) conditioned by our insticts...
i guess my approach is more philosophical and less social but i like to think we have a choice....
