If I was to get married which I've no intention of, I would definitely avoid the church and the moors. I'm not a church goer and the moors reminds me of the Moors Murders! Yikes! Beach would be the most romantic, or if climate doesn't allow a nice hotel after registry office. Cruise ship could be cool too!
Cormouth: If you could pick one of the above as a wedding venue which would it be?
Surely the venue choice where two people choose to marry (I am speaking of marriage in the traditional sense) is mainly based upon and influenced by the couples religious beliefs, and more often than not, those of their sometimes dictatorial and overbearing respective families.
Personally, I believe when a man and women become adults at age 18 that is the age of majority If they want to stay together *any* form of marriages and/or civil Partnerships and the certificates issued confirming it just to prove it to society that expects it is a load of crap.
It means nothing in reality if and when the two people concerned love each other, and what they do is entirely down to freedom of choice and their own business.
