Dr.Phil is a charlatan and a fraud who uses hypnosis on his guests to make himself appear like he's a good 'therapist'. I'd even go as far as to say he deliberately damages some people for entertainment.

Yes, abuse goes all ways, reb.

Amongst the gays and where the gays have a strong influence(such as the media)is where men are sexually objectified.

Women see a handsome face or a good body and wonder about the man behind them. She'll humanise him which has the downside in a tendency to humanise sexy monsters(the reverse is the tendency for women to dehumanise dull nice guys). Whatever a woman tingles and excites for she'll try to humanise. Men are not the same. Visual appreciation can be enough and that's just the way it is.

I don't believe women are able to see men as human beings, only as a means to get what they want, kind of like an app for their smart phone.

Yes that's just the way it is,grin .

You are very insightful.thumbs up

What the?

Most women are not out to get "what they want" from a man. Most women are looking for an equal in a partner and see men in a good light.

No decent woman with choices would go near someone with that attitude.

Sorry reb, I don't fully understand what you wrote there.

Just the abuse goes both ways - I don't like a man taking liberties and not keeping his hands with himself when he didn't get an invitation.

Same goes for me, I wouldn't do that to a man.

Respect, simples. wine

Some women act this way when they're in groups. I've been approached by these types of women on many occasions. Doesn't bother me, I just go with the flow. cowboy

Many responses here are making me LOL!!

Sexually desirable? hell yes. A s*xual object? Not so much.

Yeah, I did see that "liar" comment, and I responded on thread to him.

...just wanted him to come forward on the thread and elaborate why he would make that comment.

I don't know him personally. At least who he portrays to be on his profile.

I thought maybe he had responded while I was asleep, and that's why thread was pulled....dunno

Oh well...a mystery, it seems...doh
