I would have to disagree Ali.
Women, in general, are no more jealous creatures than men.
It has little to do with gender, more to do with insecurities of individual which causes the jealousy.

I agree jealousy isn't limited to women, in fact a lot of the domestic violence that is perpetrated by men is the result of the mans inability to contain his jealousy.

I think relationships are shaky when women become jealous of any other women', regardless of whether the other woman is a boss, pier, doctor, lawyer etc,. And then I've seen some of my married men friends who'd didn't like me around their wife when I became single again. Works both ways.

In general women are more concerned with others women/men. They like to compare always. Its in their DNA. Its very common you hear what her friends brought and what her friend's partner gave her.
Men doesn't concern about their friends or colleague whether they hook up with most hot girl, get promotion and buy a new car.
