Met some of good friends in here.
And talk with some at fb too or skype. We still keep in touch even in distance

Met one guy for lunch here in Scotland right back when I first joined. Eek, not a very accurate bio! Lesson learned to do more research up front.
Talked to one for months on here and on a skype alternative, but texting only, not visual, until it got a bit too intense. No intention ever of meeting.
Talked to another for about a month before buying a webcam and going to Skype. Then met him.

Not even made Skype friends? Distance does suck but there are very few people from Scotland on here. I thought there were quite a lot of South Africans, though, certainly several active on the blogs.
Yes I KNOW it is a big country. Always loved that request to the tourist board, "can I walk from Cape Town to Durban following the railway tracks?" - the answer was on the lines of yes, but take plenty of water, it is 1000 miles.

I lost all my contacts with the older version disappearing.
I can't get on the newer version for various reasons.
I've contacted skype tech support but they can't help me until I make some modifications of my own....which I aim to do.
I enjoy skyping and meeting people that way.

I met one in person and we saw each other twice: the first time in my country the second one in his country. It didn't worked, he was a liar and a bad person. By Skype about 6 or more, but only 2 are still my friends. I think this is not a place to find a partner, maybe friends or hookups but nothing serious, and less if you are far away or from a country like mine.
