I run into a lot of those who during quiet moments alone when I wish to stroke their hair get all upset. Too much money at the beauty parlor they often claim. I think they forget why they had it made up, to look attractive for their guy, nu? Besides, sometimes whose money paid for that? If it was your money, isn't it your say how long it should last?
1.Perhaps they had there done for themselves, because that's what they wanted. 2.Whether the man paid for it or not it doesn't give him the right of ownership. 3.Perhaps because of the attitude you project in your post they just do not like you and do not want you touching them and they are being polite.

I am awfully sorry to say, that you cannot assume that you have ownership rights over anyone... hair, hand, any part that is not willingly given, is the right of that person.. to refuse,
and if you are a gent, you don't pry to why.. People will only share what they feel comfortable with, and if in that point of time, comfortable for whatever reason is not to be breached.

The first thing I do on a date is run over and ruffle her hair and knuckle her head. It's a deal-breaker. But more seriously I think any girl who's that finicky and vain would piss me off eventually, she clearly suffers from a lack of perspective.

It's my favourite thing,

Have you got, by any chance, one of those funny things, where you might have the need to touch someone's hair?If it is the case, invest on a natural hair wig, should solve the issue.

My goodness if someone is that finicky about having her hair touched she must be a bundle of fun when you get down to more serious business!!!!...never heard of anything so stupid in my life.....
In Jewish religion a women hair is a private part only to be for the husband. Maybe you should marry her?
If the lady has a trauma about her then you should take her like she is. Maybe you can take really good care of your hair to prove you are worth touching it. Did you pay for her hair?? Like churgical implants or did you like do a payment to her parents?
