Oh. Well, I guess you would need luck to find someone on a forum.
But, if the being on the forum and discuss subjects related to dating and relationship is helpful for the process of finding someone with meaning, in the adds and in the mail section.

I can't remember how long it's been since I jointed.....
Not love yet but definitely friendships - I went to Scotland on a get-together from this site and I have a new friend from germany and her friend..... I now have a few gentlemen that I speak to on the telephone.... I am almost ready to Skype!
It's so much easier to make friends --- I get a little shy when it comes to love and men. I prefer the public get togethers and go from there.

I've been here for a few years. I've developed several very nice friends here, but no "love"* so far. I agree that the categories are great. A glitch I do not care for is that someone can view me, show interest, etc...even write or send a card, but block any and all from writing/flowers, etc... back. I find this to be a bit hypocritical on those members' parts, and CS should not accommodate this unbalanced way of communicating. JMO (so, I'm saying, if you are allowed to view/write, then the club should automatically allow others to write to YOU. It's called being FAIR.)How long have you been here and has it helped you find your love?

Been around since 2008. It has been helpful in many ways. Lots of topics to discuss in the forums, polls from a to z, games to play, poetry to read, blogs to write..
Seen a few things go, like chat. Many peeps found friendship and love...
The main thing for me is the forums and the polls. Great way to deal with loneliness and keep me out of trouble.

Forums are useful tools for getting to know people, and seeing how they interact with others

In my opinion the forums can be helpful, yes.
