That's it with men. There's almost always some reason, or some shared activity, for us to bother to socialise with one another. We don't socialise purely for the sake of socialising.
And men are much of the type to not shut up about one or a few subjects - I do it with politics - but outside of these subjects, barely say anything at all.

Although can you imagine a political world of women and what insights this would bring?
For instance I never knew that the reason for the Iraq war was because the armchair was too close to the patio doors. I also never knew that global poverty had anything to do with astrology. And that new first line cancer treatment on the NHS - the healing power of crystal skulls - can not be faulted by anybody.

Usually find in social groups there will always be one regardless of gender that dominates the useage of vocal chords...these people I tend to avoid:
1. Plays havoc with the hearing aids.
2. Usually talking a load of bull-sheet.

nothing like a bit of cream At a recent event that had been publicised for a Silver Surfers group at local library..I decided as an extra activity to attend to see whats what....upon arrival to see a Mob or Murder...of about 12 femmes and no males I decided it was not for me...I certainly did not feel like playing 20 questions....

Both men and women can be sociable when they want something eg fancy someone or need food or drink etc.
To be sociable because it makes you happy ie friendly then surely it's something both/all genders have. You either have it or you don't have it.
