the poll was difficult, as more than one category plays into it. For me, not only character and expression, but the personality is important, but looks and expression gets my attention first. But a little bit of everything on that list is important, to one degree or another. Money is not high on the list; just want a guy who works. Family and friends advice is not even too high on the list; I look at his character and outlook on life as being very important. Sports professional is not on my list, not even car.....And somebody "too religious" is a deal breaker for me, along with men who have addictions of any kind, rudeness, negativity of any kind, or mentally unbalanced. I'm very positive and upbeat, so I need someone who is balanced and healthy in every way.

Well actually Virgo and tauras are both earth sighns and my ex hubby was a tauras we were together since teens till I was 36 so yea we were very compatible,
But I'm earth with fire cos I'm on the cusp so it's a bit more complex ,,I'm fire and earth,

Yeah it is. I found both the Chinese astrology and the western/Eastern astrology together were very useful. In both of these my wife and I are very compatible. This doesn't mean we don't have our differences, but we are far more compatible than my friendships with other star signs / chinese horoscope signs.
I used both together and this helped to minimise compatibility problems. Being an Aries and a horse, I found both of the descriptions of me to be very accurate. I didn't like what I was like, but I had to admit it that there was a lot of truth in it. I have to keep mindful of these traits because I don't like being this way all the time. But there is definite truth in it that helped me to find a very compatible partner.

Yeah I used to think that way as well. I'm not advocating that everyone should take this into account, just recounting how it actually worked for me. It was one of the changes I made when looking for my soul-mate. I actually decided to research the existing widsom to improve my chances of a 'forever' relationship.
Of course there were and are far more factors that come to play. It would be unwise to make such a life-changing choice based solely on stuff like this, but I'm saying that there is truth in using it as an information tool in helping to choose a partner.
Previously I never even considered it, but now I have living proof in friendships with women that are deeper and closer than previous ones. It seems more than coincidence that each one is with a 'compatible' star sign. I never considered it before but now through observations with my friendships with women and with my wife. I think that there is something to it.

The "right man" for me is someone I have things in common with - similar background, interests, values etc.
It's important to "hit it off" with someone, that there is an attraction and the ability to communicate easily. I can "like" a guy very much, but these days I do put my head in gear before things go further to cut down on headaches.
Things have to be mutual for me, otherwise I don't see any point.
