WildHilda: Let us see where this takes us ........ How would you vote?. I was always against drugs but I now think that cannabis should be legalised ...... the world and its mother seem to be smoking it these days and the revenue from the legalisatio would go a long way in helping the country back on its feet..... better the people benefit from the tax revenue the drug would create than the faceless drug lords IMO...
I've tried it but just makes me too mellow,
Alchol can have more catrosophic results than cannibis,
Yes I know that smoking cannibis can alter the mind. And bring on pysosis in a person that is predisposed to it anyway but so too could excess alchol or traumatic events trigger pysosis ,paranoia in a person that is predisposed to it anyway,
Maybe it should be legalised ,,an adults choice just as alchol is,
Alchol isn't banned because some of us are allergic to it,

I don't stand by the argument that cannibis can lead to hard drugs,
Some people like to just drink shandy does that mean they will drink neat whiskey if they just like light shandy,

But unfortunatly its the drug that triggers the mental disorder alot of the times though not always. And in the bigger scheme of things the government needs to look at the legalising of cannabis it is happening through out the states in america. though there is a cynical side to this or maybe im just cynical. cannabis chills everyone out and makes us laid back, everything will be allright man syndrome !!! If alchol was illegal people will still get a hold of it,
I saw a programme on tv last week where a girl who was abroad on her hols drank vodka that wasnt distiller properly she died ,,

Yes but some young people are not aware at the time,
And young people will try things,
With support and education a person with a mental illness will take responsibily for themselves if they know and accept the fact that they do have a mental illness and wish better for themselves,
It's understanding and support these types people need to take their future into their own hands ,,
People with mental illness life is a huge challenge,

reasons to legalise cannabis
from a smokers point- access to good quality product without having to deal with criminals.
from a government point- revenue revenue revenue oh and probably a few less people in jail. More resourses to deal with other crime, more money to divert to education health and so on and so on.
a win win for everyone... but it probably wouldnt work like that !!!
