Really? Who cares. Governments have always kept secrets from it people.
Email is not really any different. Even if they did release any emails, they would be to promote whatever bias the government was seeking at the time.

She obviously didn't want records of her communication to be kept at the State Department... Almost similar to how Harvard students of 1991 don't remember Obama ever being there. 
Seems that at least one student from that time would have come forward and proudly announce having been in the same class with the president.
