Giving birth is the closest a woman comes to death. I lost HALF of my blood (& my consciousness) giving birth to my son. I technically should have died & had to be transfused.
I don't have any stats about how many women die each year from complications from childbirth but I'm sure it's more than people would imagine.

She's definitely got the fitness daredevils things under control ! I get nervous just watching this video. Does she carry any energy bars to eat/drink along the ascent? handshake Very impressive!

My brush with death was childbirth, too. I'm curious to find the answer, now.

Does being born come close?

I thought smoking was the riskiest thing to do.

Aren't Bill Yates and some other wealthy guy involved in a campaign to stop it as it kills more than any other one thing.

I nearly drowned when I was 4 so I learnt to become a strong swimmer.

Giving birth was dodgy for me but more to do with potential loss so I tend not to go there, twice is more than enough.

I can't stand heights. I'd love to be that woman. She was loving it. I'd settle for being the amazing Photographer.
