If we can manage a few, yeah. Preferably people that we can integrate easily.

Unlike the Brits who took over a few Libyan army guys to train in their academy.... they let them out for a night on the town. Guess what happened...

Their Libyan spokesman said that they should have been told how to behave. LOL madness.

Thats a horrible story, poor bloke, 'dont tell my mum', his only concern is upsetting him mum, what a bloke.

Reminds me of the old days when those who were court martialed out of brittish army were sent here to overrule us. So what happens do they go back to libya to the army or removed from service? Madness....

But on topic yes those that can be integrated easliy should be top of list, i think some countries have language restrictions to try get people who speak english to get priority. Our border control needs to tep up to world dtandards first, but yes, more english speaking refugees thumbs up

I wouldn't really be bothered about the English requirement. The poles learned English quick enough as an example. As long as they weren't bringing their stone age ways with them I wouldn't mind.

Anyway as it is, we've got an unemployment problem, waiting lists and our own refugees in the form of homeless.

Sad topic... watching that boat sinking, their arms reaching out to get on the bigger ship, with nothing but what they were wearing...

They must be really desperate to take that huge risk.

Would they adapt to Irish life?

Would they sink the economy?

What does it say about you if you reject them?

Who are they? Can you verify their identities? are they criminals?
