in my experience there's nothing nicer than having a good laugh. i have a good sence of Dutch humor and in general adore the English humor as well. humor can cross so many bridges and nationalities and can unite people I'm sure.
but nowadays you almost have to take care not to offend certain touchy touchy groups or religions, cause you risk getting shot, blown up, burned or in the worse case you get a lawsuit.

have we changed that much??
Maybe, maybe not, but it makes the whole show more bearable
I love to laugh! I laugh with my family as well as friends! It's a beautiful thing along with music. There are many beautiful things in this world. As far as saving humanity, not a chance! Nothing trumps money, power, and greed!! We will suffer the same fate the Romans did,on a much grander scale of course. I wish I could tell everyone a joke, but I always forget them!

hoolet: If it was applied in a few marriages, it might save them too
My neighbour is a strict Muslim & flatly refuses to let his wife drive. To wind him up, I asked where it says that women are not allowed to drive cars. He pulled a leather bound book off the shelf, opened it & pointed to a passage in Arabic.
"The Quran has rules about driving?" I asked. "No", he said. "This is a health & safety guide"
Hi. Regarding humor. Humor is that magic quality that can dismantle us in such a way that we become more human. Humor can be subtle and still pull the rug out from under guarded egos. It's a peek into someone else's heart. It's a bird let out of the cage. It's that recognition of being still... in midair before the drop. It's an open window to forever. It's a heart singing a beat. It's freedom, acceptance, humility. It's a bridge with no divide. Laughter is power, relief, uniting, exhilarating. It's just plain fun. HA!
