Hah! I lent myself to fantasizing many a great and small and exciting visions when I felt the urge to drop my seed on the ground, so to speak, but I never fantasized God as being my partner, be he or she of any diploid persuasion.

What EVER you choose them to be.....it is your belief and faith....so what do you believe? Male/female/both/neither.....
Post a hypothesis......and then ask your question,....you may get a far more detailed response,....example.....I believe god is a female,....what do you think? And make sure you cover the options....all you give is male/female/can't say.....what? no both, gender non-specific, do not believe.....???

2intrigued: I believe that God is a spirit...Neither male nor female.
I believe this also in regards of God not being a male nor a female, as we know male and female, but God does express himself as being masculine and of course his Son Jesus is masculine. It does seem out of balance with the overall nature of the universe or things in general, to not have a feminine equivalent in the mix. The following is NOT scriptural, but is a theory that I have: That the Holy Spirit is a feminine force. Scripture does tell us that one can not be forgiven for blaspheming of or against the Holy Ghost, that alone tells us that God is very sensitive about and protective of the Holy Spirit, but I certainly would NOT suggest that the Holy Spirit is God's wife. ------ This poll is Archived ------
